About the Artist

Lea Cameron graduated from Millikin University with her BFA in art therapy in 2019. Her undergraduate focuses included mixed media painting and drawing. Lea explores a variety of subject matter including abstract, still life, and landscape. Color is a central focus in her work. 
Lea is passionate about creating art with a variety of populations and making it accessible. Since 2019 she has gained experience in the human services field working and making art with special needs children and adults, seniors with alzheimer's and dementia, cancer patients, individuals in mental health crisis, jail groups, and children, teens, and adults. Lea now teaches art at Robertson Charter School part time and works in the community teaching a variety of art classes. In Lea's spare time she enjoys cooking, teaching yoga, and spoiling her cat named Bob Ross.
